The Trust and College are founded by
chevalier Sir.Dr,K.C.Rajabather a well known
educationist in Tamilnadu.He is also a
Journalist. He was regonised by several state
level,national level and international level
agencies and bodies confering various titles and
awards for his meritoroius services.
The
Trust had already established Indira Gandhi
Jayanthi Arts & Science College for women at
Tindivanam, Villupuram Dist.
Villupuram
district stands last in women Literacy in
Tamilnadu.
The IGJ Trust concentrates
more on creating awareness for women and working
for the Rural women development and women
empowerment.
Most of the employees
working in this group of institutions are
women.
There is no Higher Educational
Institutions run in and around 40 km at
Tindivanam, hence the management involved to
open and run educational institions for women.

the Trust. They are devoted to educational
activities and Promotions of education for the
